Interpretive panels and displays can be used to present information about the archaeology or history of a site to the public. New South Associates has worked with a variety of clients, including commercial businesses, civic organizations, and public parks, to develop interior and exterior exhibits on archaeological and historical sites.
Our graphics specialists have experience in using various materials and mountings to create long-term outdoor exhibits. We are accomplished in the integration of readable text and graphic images to develop signage that is attractive and appealing that conveys information about a site in an easily understood language and format. Our staff has also developed interior display case exhibits of archaeological artifacts and historic implements, in combination with interpretive panels and visuals, to produce museum quality displays in lobbies and other settings. Whatever the subject and setting, our specialists have the skills needed to create an exhibit or display that is an enhancement to virtually any site.

For Home Depot in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, New South Associates created an outdoor exhibit on the history and archaeology of the site that included information on Andrew Turnbull's establishment of New Smyrna in 1768 as well as later use of the property as citrus groves owned by the Connor family, whose produce was marketed under the Ronnoc name (Connor spelled backwards). |
