The
analysis of prehistoric and historic plant and bone remains is a specialized
study required for many cultural resources projects. New South Associates is
very pleased to offer subsistence studies services. Over the years we have
developed our own staff of archaeobotanists and zooarchaeologists to analyze
the food remains recovered by our projects, and we now offer their services
to other cultural resource firms and agencies requiring subsistence studies.
Additionally, Rock Art Studies are provided to
other cultural resource management firms as well as agencies and
organizations that must address the requirements to protect and interpret
rock art sites under their jurisdiction. New South
Associates' subsistence studies program provides our clients with integrated
reports listing the types of plant and bone remains recovered from a site and
interpreting these data in chronological and socio-historical contexts. These
integrated reports can be used as appendices or as report chapters. New South
Associates has provided subsistence studies for projects throughout the
eastern US and as far west as Arizona, and we routinely provide these
services throughout the eastern and southern portions of the country. |
